My Last Month at Aerialite
I’ve never really shared much publicly about Aerialite until now.
It’s something I co-founded with two of my closest friends here in Bangkok — a company we built from nothing but our own pockets, late nights, and belief in what we could create together.
From the start, our focus was clear: security and privacy first. That meant many of our earliest projects were kept quiet under NDA. Still, little by little, we grew — working not only with clients in Southeast Asia but also expanding to Europe and the US.
For me, Aerialite has always been more than just a company. It’s been a family, built on trust, resilience, and the shared vision of three friends who wanted to do something meaningful.
And now, after keeping this story mostly to myself all these years, I feel it’s the right time to finally share a personal update.
This month will be my last actively involved in the daily operations of the company.
Aerialite has been a huge part of my life. I co-founded it with my closest friends here in Bangkok, and together we built it from scratch — no investors, no shortcuts, just belief, trust, and countless late nights. Over time, it grew into something bigger than I ever imagined, working with clients not only in Southeast Asia but also across Europe and the US.
This year has not been easy. We lost Kevin — our co-founder, our leader, our friend, our brother. That loss is still heavy in my heart, and it makes this step back even harder. But Kevin’s vision and spirit live on in Aerialite, and always will.
What matters most is that Aerialite’s story continues. The team is strong, and with Calvin leading forward, I believe the company will grow and succeed in ways that make us all proud.
Although I’ll no longer be part of the day-to-day, I’ll still be here to support in whatever way I can — as a friend, as a co-founder, and as someone who will always care deeply about Aerialite’s future.
To our team: thank you for your dedication and resilience.
To our clients and partners: thank you for your trust — it has meant everything to us.This isn’t a goodbye.
It’s simply the start of a new chapter, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for Aerialite. With gratitude,
Laurensius Jeffrey
Sharing this now feels like finally opening a chapter I had kept private for a long time.
Aerialite has shaped me in ways I’ll never forget, and though I’m stepping back, I’ll always carry its story — and the people behind it — with me.
Thanks for reading along, I hope you enjoyed this post. If you did, maybe consider following me on Bluesky, I'm trying to write more this year, so I'll see you in the next post. 👋
